Interview with Chris the Coach

Interviewer: What's your life's ambition?
Jo: To do a skydive!

Interviewer: What made you take up rowing and when?
Jo: I took it up 2 years ago because I am tall and was never good at anything else!

Interviewer: What's the funniest rowing story you've heard?
Jo: Liv, Lara, Vinny and Fran capsizing a boat for the first time last summer holidays.

Interviewer: Has anything embarrassing happened to you whilst on the river?
Jo: NO!!

Interviewer: Do you have a rowing icon?
Jo: What?? Who made up these questions? No… Maybe Steve Redgrave.

Interviewer: What would your ideal position and boat type be?
Jo: I really like rowing at bow in the IV+

Interviewer: Do you read "Regatta"?
Jo: Sometimes.

Interviewer: What would you like the boat club's mascot to be?
Jo: Wally! [A bit of a trend here!!]

Interviewer: What sort of status do you think rowing has in this college?
Jo: It's quite a low profile - only really an option in the last two years.

Interviewer: If you were omnipotent what changes would you make to the boat club?
Jo: We need to buy some more boats -- single sculls -- and to start rowing lower down in coll.

Interviewer: What are your duties as Vice-Captain of Boats
Jo: I'm the nuts and bolts (as Malcolm calls it)!

Interviewer: What's your "claim to fame"?
Jo: Ummmm… My cousin was on "Supermarket Sweep"

Interviewer: What would your ideal man be like?
Jo: Tall dark and handsome of course!
